Babylon No More

"U.S. Military admits destroying ancient city of Babylon"

The Harpoville Post has learned that what wind, weather and 3500 years of civilization couldn't achive the United States military managed in just three years.

The ancient city of Babylon stood as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and for more than 1000 years, as a city, before it was conquered by the Persians around 538BC. After centuries of neglect Saddam Hussien rebuilt the city and used his army to protect it from looters that was before the U.S. led invasion of 2003.

The Harpoville Post reports that the U.S. and Polish military used the ancient city of Babylon as a helicoptor landing pad causing grave structure damage to the remaining buildings. The British Museum and the German Archaeological Institute said that U.S. troops using this site have distroyed what stood for centuries.

"It might still have been standing"

"A picture of Babylon as U.S. Army arrives"

The Harpoville Post spoke to Col. J. Colman former U.S. chief of staff who said, "Sure the vibrations from our helicoptors caused some of the buildings roofs to collapse and we used ancient fragments to fill our sand bags with but, just imagine what shape the place would been in if we weren't there securing democracy. If it makes them feel good to get an apology for what stood the test of time for untold centeries, before we arrived, we certainly can give him one. I might even get my secretary to draw something up, we'll see."
