The Harpoville Post reports that all is quite along the western front of the White House, though the north, south and eastern sides aren't saying much either. The President has refused to respond to allegations that he authorized the leak to the newspapers of intelligence information on Iraq and its supposed weapons of mass destruction.

The Harpoville Post has learned that Scott McCellan, G.W. Bush's spokesman said, "There is a difference between providing declassified information to the public when it is in the public interest. That said, information released was declassified on July 18th 2003." This may be the hangman's noose since Scooter Libby has testified that he was authorized by the White House to release the information on July 8th 2003, ten days before it was officially declassified.
